Dr. Zakhary has been a guest speaker at numerous presentations, and authored, or co-authored, several published research papers about facial plastic surgery.

Appointments

Dr. Zakahry is an associate staff member of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Calgary, The Calgary Health Region, and has surgical priveleges at the Foothills Hospital, the Peter Lougheed Health Center, the Rockyview General Hospital, and the Rockyview Surgical Centers.

Dr. Zakhary graduated from a competitive post-residency fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Toronto. This fellowship is accredited by both, the Canadian and American Boards of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Zakhary is also the only female Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the GTA and Alberta.

Dr. Zakhary masters state of the art Facial Cosmetic Surgery techniques and combines unique skills of both a specialized facial surgeon and an artist to improve the health and confidence of her patients.
